weatherby vanguard
I have only had mine a year, but so far i love it. its chambered in 270 win.
I was just wondering if anybody has had any trouble out of them. Mine does shoot 1 1/2 or better at a hundred.

RE: weatherby vanguard
I had an early 90's 30-06. I could never get good groupings. I held onto it for ten years before I got rid of the gun. I have a hard time letting things go. Anyway I have 700 BDL now and I am happy with this gun though I still considered another Vanguard when I bought the 700. Everyone that I talked with liked the Vanguard. I thought I just got a lemon.

I have a Smith & Wesson in 25-06. It is the same as the Vanguard. The Vanguard is produced by Howa of Japan. These are quality firearms at a reasonable price. My rifle out of the box was MOA. The only thing I have done is to adjust the trigger. It was set at 8.25 lbs when I bought the rifle. You have a solid firearm that will last you a lifetime. Since you bought it under the Weatherby Vanguard your rifle comes with an accuray guarantee of 1.5" at 100 yards or you can return the rifle to Weatherby.
