Default Rugers 22 Hornet / 22L ?

I just bought a new Ruger All-Weather 77/22 Hornet and a used Ruger All-Weather 77/22. The trigger pull on the 22L is set light and I like it a lot, should be great for silhouette shooting. On the Hornet it very heavy and I'd like to set it lighter. Does anyone set their own triggers on their Rugers? and how hard is it? I like to try to set mine myself because the only gunsmith I know about in my area charges an arm and a leg for his services! Plus he's got an attitude to go with his high prices!! Thanks

I have the standard 77/22 hornet , I installed a Volquartsen target sear ,it dorped the trigger pull to about 2 lb ,simple to do , came with instructions . Midway lists one in gunsmithing ,Ruger parts for $30.99

Never owned a 22 hornet - but I really like the looks of the one that Ruger makes,(I believe it is the VHZ model) that has the 24 inch barrell. Would really like to have one of these!
