6-6,5 mm brass that’s used in more than one calibers
Hello
I want to buy a remington 700 VS lh rifle for deer hunting. It is only made in these tree calibers:
.223
22-250
.308
The minimum requirements for deer hunting is a 6 mm bullet (cal .243). The .308 is the only one of the above calibers that’s big enough but personally I think its too big. I want a caliber in the range from 6mm to 6,5 mm. I know that the .308 and .243 use the same brass so I could buy a VS in .308 and replace the barrel for a .243 barrel without needing to modify bolt or action. Do you guys know of any other calibers (6-6,5mm) that use the same brass as any of the three models of VS´s (that would not need bolt or action modifications)?
Thanks
jonj
