My wife and I just picked up a used MK77/22 for $400. The gun is mint and the trigger is set perfect! Not sure yet what it's set at but I like it. I'll be throwing a scope on it this week and I'll be out by the weekend knocking down the silhouettes!! Kittery Trading Post in Kittery, ME. had at least two more used one in the rack! A new ones go for $519

I have been using my ruger 10/22 stainless for about 5 years now and it has never failed me. I have dropped many many squirells, hares, with grouse. It is an accurate reliable gun.
