Help On Super Full Choke Tube.
I Am Getting A Remington 870 Express.
Im Leaning Towards A Super Full Remington Choke Tube.
There Two Choices. Super Full Turkey And Super Full Turkey (Straight Riffled)
Ive Seen How A Super Full Has Shot Turkeys 50+ Yards.
Question Is.
What Does A Straight Riffling Do And Is It Better?
Thanks
Cory

I don't see where Remington offers a choke with straight rifling. The turkey super full gives 85%+ patterns at 40 yards. I suspect a straight rifled choke has to do with wad stabilization. Like the wad lock choke tubes that are available.

RE: Help On Super Full Choke Tube.
The straight rifled tube has been out of REM. cat. for 2 or more years but they are being closed out by several suppliers ,I think I saw it listed at Jerrys for $7.95 . I have 3 rem turkey tubes extra full, super full and the rifled super full , just got the rifled one back from a friend . I did some testing with Hevi shot reloads and the rifled tube was a little better with my gun .You have to try your choke with your shells ,all I can tell you is how it did in MY gun ,every gun /choke patterns a little different.
