390 vs 391.
I was in Wally World this evening picking up some ear plugs. I remembered reading in another post that Walmart had the 390 for sale way cheap, so I looked over the revolving gun rack and there was a 12 gauge 390 for 498. The fine print on the sales tag indicated that this gun went on sale in 2003. I got a hankerin' to get an autoloader, but I'd like to know a little more about the 390, like what a 391 got that a 390 ain't (other than the 1).
Any info. on the 390 is appreciated. I've never bought a gun from Sam before, not sure if I want to start.

The Beretta 390 is an excellent field gun. I bought one last year and have shot many a rooster with it since. It swings and points well, cleans easily (not as easy as a Benelli) and just plain shoots great. I wouldn't say that it is a lower quality version of the 391, just not as new and doesn't have as many bells & whistles. You can't go wrong with this gun IMHO.
