I'm going to sell it i wish i could afford to keep it. But as of right now it's something that i dont' really need atm. I wanna put some of the money towards school and towards a handgun. I want something that is cheap to shoot and that i can plink around in the woods with.

Just don't kick yourself in the arse too hard. I'd hate for you to miss school cause you can't walk too good.

Here is the link to Winchesters site listing the gun. It's the only stainless that they make in 300 ultra mag. http://winchester-guns.com/prodinfo/...d=916&cat=001C

According to the "Gun Digest 2004" the Winchester Model 70 Classic Stainless Rifle in .300 Ultra Mag's MSRP is $829.00.

Let me know how much you want for it.

Good luck.

mmm i'd like to see a link of this or something...because right now i'm going off of what the winchester website says.

On the winchester website it has a MSRP of $829 for the .300 Win Mag. Not the ultra mag. Maybe that's what you saw

Winchester does not chamber the 300 ultra mag in the classic.

They only chamber the 300 ultra in the classic custom extreme weather which sports the synthetic McMillan stock and stainless finish and in classic custom, ultimate classic which sports a high grade walnut stock and it both blued and stainless finish and MSRP for this one is $2900.00.
