Bushnell fire fly cross hair and sightron ?
Has anyone used the fire fly crosshair ? How long does it last ? I need something for low light conditions. Presently using a 2x7x33 Var x II on my BLR but most other scopes are too big for the rifle.
One guy suggested the Sightron as it has clear optics and a little thicker crosshair(which is what I need) Most big bear come in right at dark and it is hard to put a black cross hair on a black bear and see your exact aiming point.
I'm on a tight budget so I need something that will work in the price range of the above scopes. Thanks !

I used to use a BLR in 308 on Black Bear hunts...had a low powered Burris variable 1.5x5 mounted on it and it worked fine for that purpose. Why don't you just send your scope to Premier Reticles or Leupold and have them put on a heavier crosshair.
