Remington ISS system..something to think of
Bought a very nice Mountain Rifle in 7-08 had the trigger adjusted but keep hearing accuracy problems if the ISS is installed on your particular rifle. Supposedly this system makes the trigger pull non consistent, jerky and the firing pin doesn't hit the primer as hard as a normal firing pin assembly. Anyone experience this ? I am unscrewing this POS and buying an aftermarket for it anyway but like Ruger triggers this is another additional expense because a bunch of lawyers want to sue everyone under the sun..

My 257 is equipped with the ISS, it has never affected accuracy, capable of sub moa groups with just about every bullet weight I have shot out of it. Then again I have never engaged the lock nor do I intend to.

RE: Remington ISS system..something to think of
My 7-08 shoots great with the ISS installed but you need to see a scrunched up firing pin spring when removing that assembly, and I don't want plastic anywhere on my gun so it has to go. This is real Cheapo. Wyote can't replace that shroud everything has to be replaced firing pin, cocking piece everything. Thankfully at least 3 companies make better then New assemblies for them..Remington just needs to scrap this lawyer loving POS in the future.
