Yeah they might have been, or a big dist. had them chamber some.<img src=icon_smile_question.gif border=0 align=middle> They will do that for the real big ones like I think Buckeye or Jerry's.

oh and as to using the 243 my grandpa says in case i were to get excited and maybe miss then i dont have to worry about the bullet traveling a mile a killing someone and he dosent like lever guns much so hes gonna get me a rifle in the caliber my grandpa is talking about he already knows of a guy who has one at the sporting goods store and he says it wont hurt me and when i grow out of it we'll let me use his pre'64 243

I think Ruger did but it's been a long time back. I think in the heyday of the 7.62X39 and guns chambered for it; before all the stupid import restrictions started. Maybe back around 1990-92???
