Anyone know where a person could buy a nickle model 12. My girl friends grandpa is looking for one. His father had one when they first came out. They had to sell it durring hard times. He would realy like to have another.

you would have to pay a premium if you find one in good condition.look in your local trade papers that come out once a month.check web search for shotguns there are a lot of traders on line.if you buy one local,it will be $500 cheaper.mine were valued at over $900 each.

I was at a gunshow Sat and looked at a nickel steel 20ga with a vent-rib barrel and "trap" wood. It was made in 1924 and he was asking $1000 for it.
