Ring/base advice needed for Sako 75 Stainless
Optilocks low profile rings are made to accommodate scope objectives up to 63mm. That's too high for my Zeiss Conquest 3.5x10 44mm. Should I go with regular leupold bases/rings or the Sako Ring mounts that mount to the dovetail of the receiver (No base)? Thanks!

I'd stick with the Sako rings. They are good and rock solid. Their Medium height rings should work fine for your scope.
If you decide to go with the Millett or Leupold type rings and bases, be sure you're present when you buy them. You'll want to make sure of the height. The dovetail portion of the receiver is raised a little. Combine that with the raised platform of the bases, and you may have to go to "low" rings to get the proper height.
I'm a firm believer that the more stock contact your cheek has, the better shooter you'll be. I hate having to raise my face off the stock in order to see thru a scope. 1/32" clearance between objective and barrel is plenty.
Good luck.
