Honestly could be quite happy if I didn't acquire ANY guns in 2004; however, I always try to keep something on the drawing boards. I have liquidated a fair bit through Gunbroker.com so the money is there, just have to wait for the opportunity --- kind of an "off season hunt" of sorts.

CZ in 458WinMag (Convert To 458 Lott, so it is not a magnum anymore )
OR
Marlin Guide Gun in 45-70
OR
338 Lapua in something or another
OR
7mmSTW in Model 70

Just kinda fine tuning,

I'm wanting a youth model 7 .243 for my son. He's only 4 but dad needs check it out for several years to make sure it's okay for him. I plan on toping it with the new Leupold Rifleman scope. Just want something inbetween my .223 and .300wsm. It will be my sons gun though (my wife laughs at that one). What can I say?

Mine's a short list:

For Christmas I picked up a Tikka WH in 7 Rem Mag...cant wait to shoot it!

1. New scope for my 7mm.08 (probably a Elite 3200 3x9x40)
2. Maybe a Ruger No. 1 standard in 30.06
3. T3 Lite in .308 or 25.06 or something?

Only thing I need is that scope the rest is just wishful thinking...

dont think ill actually buy a gun....but im going to work on my flintlock like refinish the stock.....put fiberoptic sights on it.....put a sling on it....then possibly another barrel and lock for it to have a percussion gun also....but i doubt ill get to that.......and id like to set up my mossberg 500 with a reddot and have it as a slug gun so i can hunt behind the houses a little more safer...i know they still go far and everything but not as far as a 3006.....id feel a little better with a sluggun...and if i do that ill have to buy a new small game gun.....maybe a old ithica 37 or a old remington 1100 or something.....i hate new shotguns....i beat mine to much to buy a pretty one....buy one that already seen the woods a few times but is in great working condition....i save money and i get a good gun.....works every time....i dont know what im going to do first....i want to save for a truck.....or a new engine and paint job for my car.....i love my little car.....but want a truck but really i dont need a truck my car will go anywhere a truck will but twice as fast.......so i dont know...we will see.....buying guns is kinda hard when your only turning 17 and you have to work and goto school......but im doing pretty good for my age........and got my priorities in line.....my fan died on my car.....so i gave up buying a CD player for my car and getting my squirrel mount done to fix my car.....the squirrel and CD player can wait i suppose......heck the squirrel been waiting since.......october.....lol

1. 30/06 Rem.700
2. 20 gauge 870 Wingmaster

I guess that would be it for the "Hope to Get in 2004 Guns". Now if I can just hold my breath and see what happens. The list of wants is much longer than the might get list.

I can't say I have ever planned to get a certain gun it has been more of a impulse rather than a plan with me to buy a gun. If I see something I want and I can afford it I will buy it .

I'm lookiong to ge ta deer rifle that I will keep for more than one season.

I like the looks of the Tikka, Browning A-Bolt, and maybe a nice used older Winchester or Remington bolt action rifle.

I'm thinking of a .260, .a 270, a 7mm, or a 7mm-08. I just can't makeup my mind just yet.

I have a T/C Encore and love it! Guys save your money and buy one, I highly recommend it!
