Welcome to the board, I still shoot iron sights, but the peepers are starting to go so I will be looking for a scope soon.

Both Leupold and Burris have US-made optics and are 100% Made In The USA. You can find their 3x9x40 scopes starting for around $200.

Welcome to the board D4D, as others said you probably won't need high magnification, although a good 3X9 would not be too much either. Just get the best glass you can get. You won't go wrong with a Leupold, Burris or Nikon! Good luck!

Wecome aboard day4day. I'd go with a Leupold 2x7 nice and light and you don't need all that power for the 44. Just my 2pennys. Zeak

Day4 Day welcome to the board, I have found a good inexpensive scope in Swift, good warranty, etc. If I were you I would pan back through the pages on this topic for the last 30 days as this question is always asked and there are several replies and posts giving a lot of good info.
