    Default Buying another Model 700 today
    I need a gift for a friend and believe that I will buy a Model 700 for him. It will be a SPS Stainless chambered in .25-06. After a Bell & Carlson Medalist stock and some rings and bases it will be ready for a new scope that he has on his shelf.

    I use a CDL in .25-06 with a VX3 4.5x14 for pronghorns and the occasional deer. Now he will have a similar setup.

    Have two rem 700 in 25/06 and love them one is a bdl, the other and older adl with a wood stock. Both have leupolds vx1 3-9 on.

    25 06 is a great caliber. I have flattened a lot of deer with it.

    None in stock so I had to order the M 700. It should be here is a few days.
