The gun has no marks in the areas that you talked about. When I used the gun I used pyrodex and the TC Maxi hunter. It has been in the gun cabinet for quite some time now because I shoot an older Knight. When I used it the gun shot very good and I waylaid a lot of deer with it. I live just Southwest of Winchester, VA. in a small WV town named Wardensville. Let me know.

Is it flint or percussion and do you still have it? I'm guessing it's percussion because you used Pyro instead of black powder.

It is percussion. I still have it a guy looked at it last night and said he had to talk to his buddy and let me know by Monday. My gut feeling is that I'll never hear from him. It does have some tiny marks in a few places on the wood but the gun is probably around 30 yrs old and I did use it. He looked it over like he was buying the Declaration of Independence.

Thanks, Jim
