adjusting sights on buck mark

Default adjusting sights on buck mark

i'm shooting to the left about an inch @ 10 yds. do i move rear sight to the right or left?

Rule of thumb when adjusting iron sights: the front sight follows the rear sight.

Correct. The rear sight is moved in the direction you want the bullet to go. Opposite is true for the front sight.

To see this easily in your mind, imagine a very exaggerated adjustment. Say you elevate the rear sight by 4 inches. What would you have to do to align the sights to the target? Raise the muzzle.
