    Would removing the stock in order to clean your gun after use throw the scope off?
    It could-- not your " scope" per se, but your gun could certainly shoot differently.

    Any time a rifle starts shooting all over the place check the stock for bedding and the scope rings and bases. The rest of these guys are right on about not needing to take your stock off regularly. Save that type of cleaning for the end of season cleaning.
