Muzzle Brake in Action Pics
Made a post a couple of weeks ago on muzzle brakes.
It showed one being installed.
Here are some pictures of another brake I made a week ago. It uses 6 rows with 6 holes each in a helical pattern. It's very effective in reducing the recoil in this particular rifle (6.5x284). These are stills taken from video. If you look at the second and fourth pictures you can actually see the bullet as it's leaving the brake.

jeepkid....my smith building my new 257 Roberts AI just talked me into a break...LOL funny the difference in opinions between smiths. I certainly didn't need one for "recoil"...I agreed as long as he also made me one that was sleek and not a "coke can" and also made me a thread protector so I could take it off if I didn't wanna use it.
