Check with your local walmarts.
Mine all still have entry level Colts selling for about $1075.

Had a 2 stage trigger on mine, almost got use to it, but ended up with that JP Enterprise EZ single stage trigger in the end (3lbs - just like everything else I own).

Are these "Walmart Colts" good guns?

It's the same entry level Colts that are going for $2000+ at gun shows and are in shops for $1300 if you're lucky.
