Default H&r 12 gauge slug help.

I have a H&r 12 gauge heavy barrel. Im having trouble with it ejecting shells after I shoot. It will eject some vbrands sometimes but wont ever eject lightfeilds or hornadys. Any ideas or advice?

I guess you are talking about a single shot break open gun. Stand the empty shells up next to each other. If the ones that get stuck are a little longer than the ones that eject freely, I am thinking that your chamber is on the minimum and the longer shells are being melted into the front of the chamber. My old single shot is that way with some brands of buckshot and slugs. The length of a shotgun shell is measured after it is fired. (2 1/2, 2 3/4, 3 inch)
