Default Savage 220f What ammo to use?

I am buying a Savage 220f 20 gauge slug shotgun with a Leupold Ultra Slam scope and was wondering what is the best ammo for this combination.

I have the Savage 220f with Leupold VX-II 3-9x40 I'm using Remington Accu-Tip 3" (if you can find them) and getting 3/4" groups and 4" high above center at 100 yards

Savage recommends the Remington Accutip in 3" in the manual that comes with the gun. Mine shoots them very well. I dont have any problem finding them either.

I believe savage recommends the rem accutips and federal barnes tipped triple shocks

I read that the 3" shoot better than the 2-3/4" on average. I have tried both, both shot well, currently using the remingtons this season, but with more fine tuning I may switch to the federals, both shot well at 100yds.
