Browning Ti Sheep Rifle

Browning Ti Sheep Rifle
For a sheep/goat hunt what would be your choice of caliber/cartridge in the browning ti.?
the 243,7mm-08, and 308 have 22" barrels, the WSM's have 23" barrels.
Pick 1 or more, whichever/all that you would want for a sheep/goat hunt/mtn.rifle.

Mossy oak breakup camo...I didn't realize that was common patterns on the mountains... at least not the ones I've been on where goats and sheep are found!
But, of the stuff listed there. I would personally take the 7mm-08. Although, for a hunt like this I would maybe want a 7mm Mag just to stretch my options a little more.

I voted for the 7MM WSM, but prefer a 7MM RM.
Mountain rifle IMO;
under 7 Lbs. stripped.
synthetic & stainless
shoots super flat & delivers a lot of energy down range (300-500 yards).
handles a heavy enough bullet to buck the wind well

What do you think about the risk of running into grizzlies during a sheep hunt? pack more gun? or just let the guide back you up?
I think I'd rather have 2 capable rifles vs. 1 guide backing me up. and the 300wsm is much more capable than a 7mm-08/270wsm I think.
I think if weight was the only factor etc...and sheep only, the7mm-08 would be fine, but the risk of bears makes me think the 300wsm is more correct, but I'm sure there are plenty of sheep rifles out there in the 270win, 7mm-08 type...

You, plus a guide + each with side arms -I'd expect you (both) to be okay..............even in bear country.
If I was hunting by myself, I'd want more gun then a 7MM WSM/WM.......where Grizz lives anyway but for black bears, I'd feel well gunned.
Lastly, nothing wrong with carrying a mountain rifle in .300 WM/WSM.
BTW - Nice gun selection !
One Question; Ask what is a "...Detachable Magazine, Hinged Floorplate,..."
DM attached to the hinged floorplan ??
