need info on sweet 16!!

Default need info on sweet 16!!

I've been pulling my hair out with browning and everyone else about my serial number on this sweet sixteen i just picked up it has the letter A above it and the serial number is 8xxx it has the rear push thru safety on the back of the trigger guard gold trigger and the rounded ball grip on the butt stock and no one seems to be able to tell me the date or anything im at my wits end with it any help would be greatly appreciated

Off mine... 5S 35xxx I purchased this gun in 1966.

does it say where it is made at?
are there any other markiings..i.g a crown or El or LEG?

Its gotta be a belgium gun it has a wierd symbol with the letters PV on the side of the reciever i have an #uto 5 12 gauge belgium with the same thing on it but i could not find any thing on a 4 diget serial number with the letter A above it every one says that it should have an S in the seial number if it is a sweet sixteen but it also dont have the safety in front of the trigger it is behind and i havent seen any with the same safety as mine
