Default I am a hoarder and need help

well I guess I am a hoarder now. A few weeks I went and bought 250 rounds of 45s, then bought 2 WWB 100 rounds boxs of 9mm and one 45, and just today I went and bough all 4 boxs of WWB 9mm, they were out of 45s. SO I now have 350ish 45s, and about 450ish 9mms

I am a hoarder and need your help, I am out of ammo money and walmart is sold out what should I do

The guy at walmart said another guy would be upset, I guess he bought some 9mms last night and had planned to return at 10 tonight when he got off work and got his check cashed to pick up the other 4 boxs(which I now own) I did tell him to tell the guy I would sell them to him for 30 a box

I know not alot of ammo, but on my way of having 1000 rounds of each.

Nothing to worry about till you start ordering pallets of thousand round cases.

Ya thats funny. I planned on 1000 rounds each, but could not see spending that cash at once. I figure will buy 100 round box of each every month till I hit 1000 and then start buying what I want to shoot. In the end of the world movies, like zombie movies, or say a war movie, the thing that gets me his sure 1000 guns would be nice, but if you have 20 people to defend you, why do you need 1000 guns. I was watching a zombie movie not to long ago, they raided a gun store and stole duffel bags full of gun, and the said we need a box of this ammo or that. 30 minutes later they were running low on ammo, but still had 40 extra guns . When the time comes you need to defend youself on that level ammo will be the issue, not the billion guns laying around in this country. Plus it just seems to get higher and higher with each week

You're the type of "hoarder" that ammo manufacturers love. Buying ONE box of 1,000rnds would save you a TON of money, but for whatever reason you'd rather pay the packaging premium on each box, one at a time. Volume discounts are a good thing.

And for the record, you're not an ammo hoarder yet. Having 500-1000rnds for someone that shoots semiauto's on any regular basis is not uncommon. My fiancee and I usually hit our handgun range (private) 3-4 times a month with 4-5 guns in tow. It's not uncommon for the two of us to run through 300-500rnds each trip. I reload in 1,000 and 2,000rnd batches. If I buy factory ammo, I almost exclusively buy cases. I usually buy my brass, bullets, and primers in 10,000 count cases.

I'm not sure what to say about your "zombie invasion" theories, it frankly worries me that you own a gun and even comment on "zombies", but in the event of an "armageddon" scenario (or zombies I guess), 1,000rnds won't last very long if you need to defend yourself, feed yourself, and will have no access to a fresh ammo supply, let alone if you were to plan on any sort of "offensive action", like invading the neighbors to take over their supplies...

But then again, I'm not personally very concerned about any impending zombie invasion...

Your not a hoarder. I buy ammo in the 1K lots at a time and then reload on top of that. When you start having 5 gallon buckets on a pallet in the basement of ammo with loading data on top to remember what is in them, in various calibers of what you shoot the most of, you might be a hoarder!!!! Don't ask me how I know this!!!!!

I'm just glad he's not hanging out on the muzzleloader forum anymore LOL. I'm surprised he hasn't blown himself up yet.

No I don't. I just enjoy shooting and make time to make sure I have enough to keep me entertained when I need entertaining.
