When did Remington come out with AR style rifles?

I asked a game warden why, the reason he gave me was that the state was worried that guys just "rapid fire" at animals and the state considers them as assult rifles not sporting rifles. I told him that was kinda dumb, and that i watched a guy shoot groundhogs off a neighboring field with a 50 bmg.

a year or two ago I first saw them...
believe they're made by someone else and labeled Remington...
goto their website...they also have the R25 which chambers larger cartridges, etc..
course if I wanted a semi auto larger cartridge rifle I think I'd just get a browning BAR in like 7mm-08 etc...or whatever really.
R15 in .223 would be great for the coyotes i think though...

My sentiments exactly, The BAR is by far the better hunting rifle in Auto loaders.
