A good 165gr bullet in you .308 Win. would be a hard bullet to beat. There are several very good to excellent bullets in 165gr if you reload. Personally, I use Speer 165gr Grand Slams, Nosler 165gr Ballistic Tips, and the 165gr Sierra Gameking HPBT. I have had excellent results with these bullets and their effect on deer.
For factory ammo, I like the Federal 165gr Trophy Bonded Bear Claw load. But it is a little pricey, though.

150 gr. soft points. To me there is no other option! I cant remember the last time I've shot more than one shot at the same deer. (Unless I missed the first one!)<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
