All italian made have the magazine cut off. It's only the ones made over here that don't. Cheaper to manufacture. Walmarrt has them new for around 575, but they are made over here with Beretta parts I suspect. Hit the gun shows, if you live where they are held. Should be able to pick up one for around 525 used. Nothing wrong with the 391's either, first model.

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, I live in an area where there aren't many gun shows. The reason I mentioned the mag cutoff is there are plain jane 390's without the mag cutoff, that have both an italian made receiver and barrel. But like you said, many of them have an italian made barrel and a US made receiver.
