I believe Beretta is the oldest manufactuer in the world....dating back to the 1500's. Beretta Holding owns Beretta USA, Benelli, Franchi, Sako, Tikka, Stoeger, Uberti, and Burris Optics. There may be others as well.

Thinking either a double barrel side by side or a semi auto.

I was looking at the mossberg 935 and found this

So would you recommend the semi auto or double barrle. I would like to stay around 600 if I can not sure if I can get a double barrel for that.
Check out the double barrel imports that Remington has. They are manufactured by Sparta Gun Works. I have a .28 ga and just love it. I am buying my Grandsons each one for christmas this year.

A auto-loader is ideal for waterfowl; and skeet shooter love them gas guns because the recoil is so light, it allow them to get on the second bird easier.

Most importantly, be happy with your decision !

Really? Beretta and Benelli are owned by the same company? I know Benelli/Franchi/Stoeger/Uberti are the same...and Beretta/Sako/Tikka are the same...

AND Beretta owns 20% of Browning.

As for doubles, I went that way a few years ago for waterfowl, and really like it. Still have the SBE close by in the truck, but like shooting doubles.
