Default Redfield

I just thought i would speak my mind about them. the redfield company!

I had a set of rings i had bought some time back. one of the top straps was machined with a flaw in it. they didnt mill the bottom completely. they had sat in my gun box for a while before i looked at them. i had sent emails with no response.
so i found that they had a toll free number listed on there web site.
i called them today and expained the situation to the customer service person and she said she would get me a set of top straps in the mail. i told her i only needed one . she said " ok it' s on the way" .

First it' s nice to talk to a person when dealing with a company!
And second it' s nice to have a company respond so positively!
I will continue to buy redfield products or i should say blount industrys!

Anyway i thought they deserved to be mentioned in our not in person way!

Blount Ind. kept the Weaver mount business and sold Redfield,Weaver, and Simmons already to Meade Instruments.Since Meade takeover they have been more reachable and people friendly as a company.

I didnt know blount sold redfield. IMO that was a mistake . the only rings and bases i use are redfield and leupold. i also have had good luck with simmons.
i prefer leupold but sometimes the budget doesnt let me have what i want.

Soark, Glad Redfield is getting you back in business.I had heard that Blount ind. sold Redfield but didn' t know how took them over.I dealt with RF when they were still under Blount.I had lost the windage screw on the rear base. A few days later I had a free replacement. It' s nice dealing with a company who cares about their customers.
