Timney Trigger?
I' ve had the trigger on my newest remington adjusted down to 3lbs but it has some random creep in it like every 2 out of 10 shots. I have 2 other older remington 700' s with trigger jobs and have never had a problem with them and they both break nice and crisp at about 3lbs with no creep. I don' t want to go lighter or take any chances with this trigger and an accidental misfire so I just ordered a Timney trigger 1.5-4lbs for this gun. Does anyone else use a timney trigger and if so are they very hard to install and adjust? Thank You!

RE: Timney Trigger?
It is a little wider than your factory trigger ...just get a punch to ease out those drift pins (2) and it actually is a drop in fit..., just be careful positioning the bolt release when reinstalling the timney trigger as you reinstall the drift pins it will punch out the factory provided pins on the Timney... They come preset at the factory at 3lbs...check your clearance in the trigger area on the stock ...and if needed dremel out the opening where it is touching...you don' t want contact in that area...that is about it... Hope that helps....Just be patient
