Shotgun choke tube question
I have a h&r 10 gauge in which I wanted to use for turkey this spring. The only problem is the barrel is "cylinder bore" which most know does not provide any sort of tight pattern. I know I could have the barrel threaded but I might as well buy a new barrel since it's about the same price. Is their any other ways I am not aware of so a extra full choke tube could be put on the gun?

If it is a cylinder bore, it has no choke whatsoever. The only things you can do are add a choke or get another barrel already set up for chokes.
If you go the new barrel route, consider getting a 12 Ga if it will work with your stock and frame. Much easier to find shells and other things for 12 Ga.

I don't think that you can put a 12 gauge barrel on the 10 gauge frames of the H&Rs. I just looked at barrels the other day on their site and you probably have to stick to the 10. Here is a link to their barrel site. click here It looks like you can get a 24" barrel with an x-full turkey choke for your gun for $85. You'll have to send your receiver and forend to them to have it fit to your gun.
