RE: Lefties?
Fellow lefty here. Most of my bolt action rifles are Savage 110 and 116' s. They seem to be the only company that doesn' t want to charge me $200 extra for a left handed rifle. Not to mention, they make left handed rifles in calibers other than .270, .30-06, and 7mm RM. They make short actions, long actions, hunting rifles, varmint rifles, all in LH.
I also shoot many Lever action rifles and one Remington 7600. Those are also good choices for lefties.
Reading this thread exposes some of the reasoning companies don' t offer many left handed rifles. Quite a few left handed shooters just buy right handed guns. It took me a while to get used to the left handed rifle, but once I did - I won' t buy another right handed bolt gun (except for milsurps).
