Default Most Accurate

please tell me guys what is the most accurate all around rifle calibre, If you could only buy one size bullet or factory ammo. If you could own an unlimited number of rifles but there was only one caliber in the world what would it be? Thank you.

Those are two very different questions with very different answers.

what is the most accurate all around rifle calibre, I
unlimited number of rifles
only one caliber
So....the emphasis is on caliber, not rifle. You kinda asked the same question in two different ways.
Don't know that accuracy and "all aroundness" go hand in hand all of the time.
If you are shooting only factory ammo, I'd go with the 30-06: proven accuracy, lots of different types of firearms, a gazillion different bullets - from 100 grains up to 250 grains. I'd pick it over the .308 only because it will handle those heavy bullets better.
As a handloader, I'd pick the 375 H&H. I can load it down and shoot round balls at squirrels, duplicate the .375 Win at any level, or load it all the way up and take it out to Africa or North for the big bears.
For true "all aroundness", though, wouldn't the firearm have to be able to do some wingshooting? Maybe a rifle isn't the answer - maybe the best choice is a shotgun; small game, big game, self defense, clay games.
Pete
PS - Maybe even the 45-70.

actually i kinda agree with pete,if the rifle was to used for a one rifle do all purpose...the 375h&h would be the top dog for me,followed very closely by the 300 win mag..and i do own both.

the best all around gun....its the one you shoot the best i guess. maybe a 22lr, or a 577 nitro xpress, just what ever is best for each individual.

Just thinking a bit more...always a dangerous proposition.....if I can download the .375 to increase it's versatility, I could do the same with the .458 Win and forget the 45-70 idea..
Lotsa possibilities if ya load yer own.
