We'll assume a single-shot bolt rifle, 30" bbl, 162gr A-max and appropriate twist, and an application of fun. You fill in the rest of the blanks. The inquiry was interrogative anyways. Case forming? Velocity differences?

Relentless, I don't know what your intentions are but you don't have to come across as ...Deleted by CalHunter... in every single thread that you post in.

Did you start out knowing everything that you give the impression of knowing in these threads or did you have to learn as you went along?

How are we to know that you know squat about anything that you talk about and are nothing more than a book worm?

The point of these threads is simply to invite discussion about different aspects of shooting and hunting. Considering you just showed up here and are acting like the know-it-all bully on the play ground you may want to show others a little politeness and respect, regardless of their experience (of which you know nothing about), if you ever wish to be taken as a serious contributor and not simply shunned off as another rude know-it-all.

Back to the original question.Don't know much about the Allen brass or dimensions.Know Ridge loves them .That's good enough for me.But I expect you push a 140 gr..284 pill out of a .338 Lapua brass it would probally knock the nuts off of the STW.............LOL

I don't know of anyone shooting 140's out of a AM...they shine with 160's up and especially the 200gr Wildcats...which I have 300+ of, just need to get a 7AM!!
