That is a reasonable price for the gun. I'd do it.

Well, reason I ask is I bid on it with my cell phone. You can see the pictures much better on a computer. When I looked at it later I realized it didn't have the accu trigger that I wanted. Oh well, I sent an email to the seller explaining this to him since only sellers can cancel bids. I told him that if he didn't want to cancel it I understood and that was fine since it was 100% my fault.

If I get outbid that would be great if not I can hunt with it.

If I do win it it's $25 shipping and then $25 to have the local FFL do the transfer. So about $250. Then I figure I will probably need to change the scope although I suspect I'd just put a cheap scope on it.

I kind of wish I had paid more attention and made sure it had a accu trigger before bidding but oh well. If I win I can use it to hunt with as I've been wanting a Savage .243 anyway I just wanted one with the accu trigger.

You can do a pretty decent trigger job on it without the accu-trigger.

So I didn't end up getting this as someone bought it at the BIN price. I had figured if I won it I'd just hunt with it however, I'm sort of glad at the same time I didn't win it. I really want one with the accu trigger if I get one.
