Replacement stock for a M70?
I have a Winchester M70 I bought about 11 years ago. I need to get a replacement stock. It has a black synthetic now. I found a Hogur stock I want but have no idea how to pick the one I need because they had like 50 different ones for a M70. Mine is a 270 that you load from the top. Also, is this something I could put on my self or need a gunsmith to do it.

If you're interested, have a stock one (synthetic) that I'll let go cheap, say $50 TYD. It's from a M70 Classic .300 mag about the same age as yours. We can compare measurements. No pressure at all; PM me if you wish.

The way I've always picked the stock is how cool it looked.
No really, you should see if you can find a store that might have a few of these stocks on the shelf in similar rifles. The one that is the most comfortable will be the best one for you.
