Mueller APV 4.5-14x40 AO. Go over to rimfirecentral.com and you'll see that I'm not alone in my opinion of this scope. It'll cost you about $115, but the optical quality rivals scopes that are triple the price.

I wasn't plannin on spending that much on the scope! The longest range i'll be shootin is about 100 yards. All i need is about a 1'' group(100 yards).

Mine came with a Tasco Varmitter 2.5x10x42mm, planned on changing but haven't yet. It has worked fine for target, gophers, etc.

+3 on the Mueller APV...best $115 scope there is by a mile. Mine sits on my makeover Ruger 10/22.

To be honest, if it was me I'd probably just spend $50-80 on a decent Simmons scope to put on there. Is it as good as the one listed above? Probably not but it's also half the cost and I know you said you wanted something cheaper than what's listed above.
