Stoeger used to be fairly good quality for the money. I haven't handled any of their stuff in years. As far as the other one you mentioned, I know nothing about them. Have you considered picking up a good used gun such as Browning or any of the other quality O/U's? I see a fair amount of them in the used gun racks around here....don't know what it's like down your way...... just a thought....

I really dont need a high end gun. This shotgun would be used one month out of the year, for dove season only. Even a used browning would be twice as much as what I can get one of these for.
