Default RUGER 10/22 VALUE?

I just pick up a used 10/22 ruger stainless over a birch stock, the barrel 18" the gun itself near mint only has 2 small scratches near the clip.
I did pay 150.00 wonder if it was a good price?I think it is a older model only because it say made in Conn. and I know ruger it not at that location any longer

Go to the rimfire site and match up your serial number for a date of manufacture. Brand new ones right now list for $269...you can buy them cheaper but true 10/22 gurus prefer the older metal trigger group models. You did well. Then newest 10/22 have a plastic trigger group which really is a non issue but aestically they are inferior.

you got a good price! SOme of the best little rifles out there, we have three of them and two of them get abused but shoot straight every time. I've killed everything from stray dogs to chipmunks with mine and she's dead on at 50 yards. Good pick up for the price! Now go shoot some small game!

That is a good deal. I sold a 10/22 three years back for $160, and it was bought in 1991. It had only been fired a couple of dozen time, however.

You got a decent deal. They are selling new for about 230$ if I remember correctly. I currently have 4 of them in different configurations & build levels. The Ruger 10/22 is arguably the single most fun gun in existence. If you want to scope it, the correct Weaver mount is TO-9.

I had a chance to day to try the gun iron sights at 20 yards indoor, all I can say is WOW
this thing can shoot all shots inside a dime.
I do have one question on the last shot from the clip is the bolt to stay in a open position or does it stay closed???

That's about the only thing that I don't like, it would be so nice if the bolt stayed open. They are great guns, enjoy.
