My buddy brought his Winchester over tonight for an overhaul. I think it turned out great and the stainless really sets it off.

How did you get into this?
My deer rifle is about the same color are you're friends was. I want to get a new stock for my gun but I never thought about getting it painted.

ACLackey good to see you getting your feet wet, nothing like giving a rifle a face lift, good job.
Krylon is a cheap way to paint a firearm though it's not as durable as Ceracoat and Duracoat. It's easy to apply an inexpensive to boot. A good matte clear coat it a must to help it last longer. Here is a custom Remington I have beenrattle canningdifferent schemes on for years, sorta a guinea pig if you will.
