Meostar is a model in the Meopta brand of sporting optics. The meostar is Meopta's highest end rifle scope, binoculars, and spotting scopesthat they make. It is Zeiss and Swarovski quality at a very affordable price. We sell 5 Meostars for every one Zeiss or Swarovski.

Meopta is a Czech optics manufacturer and is one of the oldest and most advanced in the world. The make glass for every conceivable application from sporting optics to medical, to military optics, etc... etc...

IMO, the Meopta rises over most Leuppy's and Burris. The Meostar line has quality glass and is tough and well assembled. I don't care for some of their reticle choices, but it's a great scope for sure.
