I like my sandbags .Those Lead Sleds feel a little bit to high for me to get as comfortable as I like ,which makes all of the difference to me in accuracy shooting

Harris 6-9" bipod off the ground, or my hunting backpack stuffed with a few coats. I figure I can shoot sub MOA groups by doing either or, no need to invest in a stock wrecker.

I do not care for the lead sled. It does not allow the rifle to recoil naturally. And it will have a different POI when the rifle is shot in the hunting condition. I also watch a good bit of competitors. I have never seen the first lead sled on their benchs yet. And I guarantee you that if the sled gave them an edge, they would be using it. The sled was designed for people who were afraid of shooting heavy recoiling rifles, and the heavy rifes are were I have heard the most about stock damage.
If you do not want to spend a lot of money, then the one in the picture below will give you the most bang for the buck. A Hoppe's front tripod, and a tall rabbit ear back bag. You have a lot of height adjustmnent. The rig is light, compact, inexpensive, and does a very good job. The next step up is a heavy front(adjustable tripod). But that is a pretty big step up. Tom.
