I'd throw in another vote for the Mark II - I stupidly sold my MKII/45 with the 4" bull barrel. That was a great gun- very reliable (I honestly can't remember it ever jamming) and good accuracy with the adjustable sights. I will second that disassembly for cleaning was kind of a pain in the butt- that would be the only minus in my book.
