At 100 you'll be around -0.73 low, at 150 around -2.86 low, and more than -4.0" low by 170 yards.

I shoot 150 grain core-lokt and I have my .270 sighted in about 2 inches high at 100 yards. That way it will be about 2 inches low at 230 yards. That's in the kill zone at any distance out to there.

I'm not bashing or anything - but what made you choose the 150 gr over the 130 gr?
I shoot 130s, and I'm real happy with their trajectory. If it is for increased KE, I understand (though my 130s do everything I want them to do - if I need a "bigger" gun, I shoot my 300 Win Mag)
Good luck in your sighting in

It's KE. It's not a big difference. The 130s would also do. I had to pick one and that's what I chose. It's not like I was standing in the ammo aisle thinking, "Should I get the 130 grain for my.270 or buy a biggerrifle?"
