Want a muzzle brake for cosmetic purposes, can't find one???
I have a savage 93r17 I am toying with, and I just want to throw a muzzle brake on it, but I can't find anything that will fit the bull barrel.
I really don't care how well it functions, I just want it to look good. I threw a bipod on it and got a 4-16x44 scope and varmit light to throw on it
just something to plink around with, and I'd like the look of one on the end of the barrel.
can anyone direct me where to get one? I'd also prefer not to spend two thousand dollars on one, something more along the lines of 20-25 would be better.
Thanks.

Sounds like a waste of time and money to put a muzzle break on a rimfire.

I just want one on there strictly for cosmetic purposes, for absolutely no reason other than that.
I guess I will just have one machined whenever I get timed.
thanks for the input anyway.

Well, to actually have the barrel threaded and a brake installed and metal finished you are looking at $200 minimum.
Brownells sells one that clamps on for $189.

There is a shop here near Baton Rouge, LA that installs a muzzle brake on any rifle and will match the finish on your barrel for $175 I think. I'll try to find them and post a link.
