Hunting with .41 magnum revolver.
Do any of you folks do any hunting with a .41 magnum revolver.
What kind of bullets do you use? At what velocity? Do you reload them or use factory?
I was checking out the Corbon site, they have a 250gr bullet loaded up pretty hot.
It is a non expanding bullet made for maximum penetration. Muzzle velocity is 1450fps.
Just looking for some general info/experiences on hunting big game with the .41 mag.

RE: Hunting with .41 magnum revolver.
Personally I cnsider the .41 mag the minimum big game handgun cartridge, but fully adequate.
For hunting I like the 210 grain hp-XTP behind 22.7 grains of H-110 out of a minimum of 6" of barrel.
find a good lead load for much cheaper practice rounds and shoot a lot.....It' s a fine cartridge.
