Another Slug Gun Question???
I bought a H&R 20 ga for my daughter.I wanted the 20ga to fit my daughter for waterfowl hunting. It did not. Now I'm going to buy her a 870 youth model.
What should I do with the 20 ga? Turn it into a slug gun? I already have a 12 ga slug gun.
My real question is....Does a 20 ga single shot slug gun offer anything extra that I don't get from the 12 ga pump already?
Thanks Bryan

RE: Another Slug Gun Question???
No. My son 6'4" 250 lbs still shoot the Hastings barreled 870 LW I got him at 15, He kils a lot of Deer but he hit multiple times (awsome shot). He keeps pumping till thy hit the ground. 12 is just more decisive.

shoot the 20ga yourself, and see how it shoots. It may do more than your 12ga.
Only reason I shoot a 12ga is because it's what I have....If I had a 20ga to shoot, I more than likely would be shooting it, if groups were as good or better, I'd pick the 20ga. If they weren't I'd have to stick with the 12ga then.
