help me pick a slug gun

RE: help me pick a slug gun
I have both an 11-87 and a H&R USH (12 gauge). The 11-87 is equipped with a hastings barrel. Let me say there was no comparison between the 2 guns, the H&R is hands down a tackdriver @ 100+ yards the 11-87 shoots well, but nowhere close to the H&R. I liked the H&R so much I bought a 20 gauge......... Now ifI was going to recommend 1 gun it would be a 20 gauge H&R with the THUMBHOLE STOCK (new for the 2008 season).........

RE: help me pick a slug gun
to those that posted ideas thanks. yes i know of the 870 (i have 4 of them). i will not muy the combo 870 in a 20ga because it does not come with acantilever barrel. i will only settle for using a scope. i will put a red dot scope on it. i believe that teaching somebody whose nevershot at all to use a red dot is easier then rifle sights. plus i won't have to worry about eye relief and scope hitting her head.
the 870 20ga only comes in a rifle sighted barrel. ren finally put the 12ga combo with a cant barrel.
additionaly i would prefer an auto to reduce the recoil as much as possible. i beleive my only option is an 11-87. i really wish winchester would make the sx3 in a syn 20ga. browning is just a pain in the a**. they are disscontinueing the golds, pushing the silvers, and coming out with something new for next year. browning doesn't have parts and pieces that i need either.
i wish that my benelli m1 20ga had a scope mount slug barrel instead to rifle sights, i've had that for6 years and still never shot it.
