RE: Stoeger Side by Side
All in all, I have to say that they are really a nice gun for the dollar. Nowhere near the same fit and finish as say a Franchi or Beretta, but it functions the same as anything much more expensive. I personnally own the Supreme SxS 12ga. with choke tubes (the Mossberg 500 tubes are much easier to find and fit perfectly) and the single trigger with the selector switch. It also has much fancier wood with a better finish, a gloss as opposed to a satin, than the standard Uplander, which comes with double triggers and fixed chokes I believe. After about 300 round, I had to retighten a screw in the forestock, but overall, I would have to say it funtions flawlessly. But thats with only about 800-900 rounds though. This is about all I can offer in advice other than you need to make sure it feels good and fits which is the same with any firearm.
